    Hello to all,
I have just registered & would like to introduce myself, with a brief background.
I qualified in South Africa at Wits Tech. Post graduate course included a B. Sc (Hons) through Brighton University (UK). Upon qualifying, I spent 5 and 1/2 years in the South African Defence Force (4 as Head of Podiatry), stationed at 1 Military Hospital. Six years of private practice followed before we decided to migrate to Melbourne, Australia
I managed to spend 2 years working throughout UK as a locum & for NHS (Wales, London. Oxford.Cambridge, Lincoln, Derby........).
I have been living in Melbourne since 2001, and thus far have worked at various Community Health Centres, & part-time private practice, with my last role being involved in research with various professors ( Endocrinology Centre & Chronic Wound Clinic).
I have now taken the final step into full-time self employment, and seem to have some spare time!!! (Until clinics pick up further..)
Would love to hear from colleagues old & new alike.
PS. I'm a LIVERPOOL F.C Fanatic & a keen soccer player, having played provincial in the Defence Force
    Catch you later...

My goodness Peter, how are you? Hope all is well with you and the family. Since our last marathon chat we had over the telephone (it seemed like almost 2 hours), we have moved & bought a house.
I will contact you again shortly so we can catch up with all the news.

I hope all is still going well with your practice. We'll catch up soon.
Take care, & good to see you've become a member.
    Happy browsing....

    Regards

    Andrew
