    Hi everyone,
I am new to these forums so apologies if I have posted in an inappropriate place. I have been using a prominent supplier of orthotic devices- for entirely biomechanical practice, but they have become so unreliable that our reputation is suffering as we keep needing to postpone patients.
Does anyone have any suggestions of different suppliers in the UK who have a good reputation in varied material pressed orthotic production. In particular I use a lot of flexible to semi-flexible shells.
    thanks in advance, Glenn

    Hi Glenn,

    :welcome:

Before this goes into a list of labs here in the UK, as we all have labs we use for own reasons.

Before changing labs, have you given them a call and explained your problem and see if you can work out a solution, do not forget they do not have the patient in front of them and they are going a piece of paper and COP/foam box to go on, their interpretation of your prescription maybe different from another lab, for example are all 6 degree varus postings the same from all labs?

I think is it so important to have a good relationship with your lab so you can learn how each other works.

So what I am saying is have a chat with them to see you can sort the problems out, as they will not want to lose your custom.

Personally I use my old technician from my old job and firefly.

    Thanks,

    Nick
