hello
haven't been on the site for a while. but I wanted some feedback. I am teaching a review of Anatomy/Biomechanic course for Pedorthics in Ontario. I have to develop the whole program from scratch, so I don't want to miss anything
Topics I have developed (powerpoint presentation)
Review of the lower limbs
Review of the foot/ankle and joints
biomechanics (what each jt/muscle does during gait and phases)
Abnoramal gait (including deteriments and paramaters)

My next course will be pathomechanics (yeah!!)

Am I missing something?? it's already about 4 hours

Hi Jenn,
You must be leaving something out. In podiatry school lower extremity anatomy was 2 semesters of 5 unit class. Biomechanics, at CCPM in the 80's, was 2-3 units for 4 semesters. They hardly taught any mechanics in those 4 classes. In the US a pedorthist training is usually 2 weeks for 8hours a day. What's your outline for those 4 hours?
