    Qualification:
    Bachelor of Podiatry
    Reports To:
    Director / Senior Podiatrist
    Progression:
    Senior Podiatrist or Facility Manager
    Direct Reports:
    Laboratory Technicians / Podiatry Assistants

    Responsibilities:
    • Expert service and Orthotic therapy provision to patients.
    • Complement Orthotic therapy with rehabilitation.
    • Building and maintenance of referrer base and support of Orthopaedics Australia- Complete Feet treatments.
    • Maintenance performance and treatment criteria.
    • Maintain ongoing continuing education.
    • Administration tasks related to clinical work and area of specialization.
    • Maintenance of appropriate membership requirements and dues.

    Position requirements:
    • Initial limb / pathology / Orthosis / footwear / biomechanical / gait assessments assessment.
    • Explanation of patient’s pathology with language, diagrams and samples they can comprehend
    • Gait analysis using the Gait scan and video gait analysis
    • Primary care Podiatry including: dermatological care, wound and ulcer management, dressings, nail and fracture care.
    • Explanation of procedure to obtain solution(s).
    • Gaining patient commitment to solution (Inc. patient compliance signature).
    • Provide partial solutions for patients with financial or other concerns.
    • Ensure full completion of Patient records, Work Order and Quality assurance Forms.
    • Casting / Moulding and modifications.
    • Orthosis fitting, reviewing, modifying and adjusting to obtain optimal comfort and results.
    • Explanation of Complete Feet solution(s) and internal / external on-referrals.
    • On-referral to practitioners for assessments, diagnosis, opinions and treatment. Gain referral back.
    • Relationship building with current and new referrers through telephone / written / personal contact.
    • Support Complete Feet referrals through Orthotic Therapy initiatives and area of specialization.
    • Complete ordering for orthoses, footwear and components to complete orthotic therapy whilst all standard ordering completed through administration.
    • Implement all patient systems before their departure (e.g. Complete Rewards and review process).
    • Complete administration duties as required (reports, funding applications, filing, mail-outs, data-entry and miscellaneous duties as advised by administration).
    • Maintain clinic and laboratory cleanliness, safety, stock and general environment (if required)
    • Maintenance, update and adherence to all endorsed company procedures systems manuals.
    • Maintenance and expansion of ongoing KPI’s
    • Visitation to external clinic satellite locations and visitations
    SALARY PACKAGE $58,000 - $78,000 with bonuses
