    Hello all,

I recently attended a 2-day face-to-face workshop held by the team from Digital Orthotic Education (DigiOrth). I found the course to be very informative and practical.

In particular, I would highly recommend the course to anyone who is wanting to learn more about foot modelling, using 3D foot scanners in-clinic, designing orthoses in a CAD environment from a clinician and lab perspective and material science. The course also covers engineering principles/terminology and applicable theory.

The course also helps demystify some of the important factors that happen behind the scenes in a lab setting that can positively or negatively influence orthotic outcomes from a digital perspective.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

  2. I attended this workshop also.

It was a no ego, full of info type course. No question or questioner felt stupid- thanks. I was impressed by the knowledge these Stuart and Anthony have and their passion to spread the good news of orthotics and podiatry.

The computer and scanning world is where it's going and it works as do the hand methods. The workshop provided detailed insight into how to critically assess scanning systems and their respective orthoses. This is imperative if your using a digital based lab.

The workshop was insightful from everything technical podiatry to pod business.

I am refreshed and confident with my application of orthoses scanning, prescription and manufacture.

Thanks Daniel and Billy, we had an amazing weekend with passionate practitioners (my favourite type) and there were some great discussions generated!!!

Who would have thought the world of biomechanics, digital foot modelling, prescription and orthotic design could be so much fun. Well, I did but I am a nerd (and proud of it).

Let me know if there is anything else we can help you with moving forward. Always happy to what we can to bring the profession forwards.

This course will improve you as a practicing Podiatrist in the field of digital manufacture which I believe will place you in the top end of the our field. The course included excellent discussion and debate in an engaging environment. You will be fully equip with scanning techniques that will improve you and your labs prescription out of sight. I was able to apply techniques the next day in the clinic.

The applied language and techniques have improved our clinic and I will continue to follow DigiOrth , they are always on hand to help with any challenges we may encounter.

    Thanks again Stuart and Anthony
