    Fellow M.Ch.S. people,

what with Paul Levy's excellent letter to the journal, and Ron Finlay's excellent article on Reputation Management in Podiatry, the August Podiatry Now has to be one of the best in a long time.

The majority of recent editions of Podiatry Now have gone quickly to recycling. I find it increasingly irrelevant to General Practice with little clinical content now appearing. As an administrative and conference mouthpiece it serves a purpose but I need more from it. August edition is no exception.

So what do you want from the magazine?

Well, I think there is now a lot of ‘padding ‘ in the magazine. I have clipped various clinical articles from Pod Now up until last year; case studies and research articles of relevance to General Practice. This content has declined while articles abound on administration, Society matters and initiatives. Independent Product Reviews would also be useful. I appreciate that the publication can only run what is submitted and of quality but perhaps they need to commission some pieces. CPD inserts have also moved away from clinical content.

The Journal of Foot and Ankle Research is a fine repository for research of an academic nature.

I hope that answers your question.
