Feels like a splinter on a weird side of my foot

    For a couple of months I got this feeling similar to a splinter. It is on the side(not sole but actual side) of my foot on the pinkie toe side about an inch from where the toe starts. It only hurts when I’m barefoot and brushed against material. If I press hard it doesn’t hurt as much. But, if I gently rub it, it hurts more. I can’t find a splinter or cut and it’s been driving me crazy. What should I do?
