Good morning esteemed colleagues. Just a quick query in the hope that someone out there today may be able pass on some related knowledge: can the allodynia that is associated with fibromyalgia manifest itself specifically in the feet? Has anyone encountered this before? I understand that the feet are not generally indicated as being one of the 18 points of the body tested for diagnosis of fibromyalgia but could this be possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated,

The trigger points of fibromyalgia can occur in the foot, but they are not included in the trigger point count that makes up the diagnostic criteria.

Everything in fibromyalgia hurts more (and that include the foot) due to the central sensitisation that occurs.
