  2. Hi,

How are you finding the course then? I'll be starting mine in September at Plymouth, so I may get to meet you.

Hey Jackie; Plymouth is great. Hasn't stopped raining since I got here in September until recently mind you! lol. This year has flown by for me. It's a really good course, the staff are first rate and couldn't be more supportive and you have Devon and Cornwall all around you which makes for some great outdoor times. You will definitely meet me at some point because I'm currently the deputy student society rep for the first year and as full rep next year i'll probably be having a chat to you all about this when you start. Get involved, have fun and enjoy yourself. The time will flash by and you'll be in clinic treating patients before you know it. Best of luck M :welcome:

  4. Hi Maloures,

I live in Ivybridge, so I know the area quite well. It is pretty wet here, but warm as well. Beaches are great. I can't wait until Sept. Do make yourself known. I would like to meet you. Have you done any live patient treatments yet, or are you still at the observing stage.

I noticed that Cathy Smith is advertising a new Reader job at the Uni. I wonder whether the successful applicant will be teaching us, or maybe just doing research. Is one of the current staff leaving, or is the department growing?

    Have a great bank holiday.

    Jackie

We've started treating patients this term and it's really great when you get to the hands on nitty gritty. Don't think anyone's leaving but wey hey isn't the salary nice!! At least from these lowly depths at the present ;) Have a good one and keep up the enthusiasm; it's well worth it!! M :D
