    Hi! I am a student podiatrist at the University of Brighton; just finished year 1 and live in Worthing. I have been recommended to join this forum, so just introducing myself! Will be interested to see and learn all about everything and anything!

    Hi, I have just joined this forum as i am too a 1st year student podiatrist, studying at Salford university, hoping to gain as much info as I can... =)

    Yes, but lots to read over the summer and a bit worried about biomechanics as it seems quite a challenge! You?

    yeah, same to be honest, just going to be recapping anatomy and clinical nail & foot condition as I have placement in September. A lot of people find biomec abit confusing, i recommend a book by Jacquelin Perry, Gait Analysis you may find it very useful if you can get hold of it.

    Ok, I passed everything but the biomechanics exam I only just scraped a pass! I struggle with that. The rest were all good really. How about you?

    yeah, all went well if I must say so, but next year I think will ne more of a challenge, may I ask what modules you did?

    Hi, We did biomechanics 1, clinical practice 1, clinical practice 2,academic skills, control systems, support systems, Applied Life studies, Psychology, Professional issues, Practical anatomy, Anatomy theory. This is the whole of year 1. What about you?

    gait & biomech, anatomy 1&2, clinical skills, clinical foot & nail conditions & applied life science. think both courses vary on the area I think
