    Hi,

My name is Tammy and I'm extremely happy to have found this site!! I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis now for 3 years. At least, that's what the dr. (orthodpedic foot dr) keeps telling me I have. I did have a minor tear of the left foot Posterior Tibia Tendon repaired. The right foot continues to give me great pain even though I've had numerous shots, medrol pacs and expensive custom orthotics and the best tennis shoes for support. Drs have thrown up their hands at what's going on. Recently they tried me on Lyrica and due to side effects I'm unable to take it. I've researched every thing I possibly can and only come up with possibly Baxter's Nerve Entrapment or Tarsal Tunnel. None of which has ever been mentioned to me by the drs. It feels as if I have no padding under my foot when walking and can only stay on my feet less than an hour before I have to completely get off of them. Then the right foot under my heel on the medial side throbs like I hit it with a hammer when I finally sit down and elevate it. My foot doesn't doesn't hurt along the normal pathy of plantar fasciitis. OMG...it's really getting tiresome! I've made an appointment with a podiatrist for Wednesday. Hopefully, I can get some answers. Thanks for letting me share my pain with you!!

Sorry, I didn't realize earlier that this forum is not for help with the general public's foot issues. Still happy to know that the drs. get together and bounce their issues off of each other! Thanks for letting me in the forum but I now realize it's only for me to view and not to ask for assistance! :)
