    Good afternoon to all :)

I'm Lisa, currently a first year Podiatry student and at the momentt I am working on a presentation which will be focused on orthotic materials. My material to research about is Polyethylene Foam. I have already found a lot of relavent information, however I would like to ask a question maybe someone can help me out.

Different types of cross linked, closed-cell polyethylene foams exist including:
    Plastazote®, Aliplast®, Dermaplast®, XPE, Pelite and Nickelplast™

Each of these materials have varying grades and densities respectively

My question is whether all have incorporated polyethylene foam, and what use do Dermaplast®, XPE and Pelite have in orthotic fabrications and their respective benefits.

I would really appreciate if anyone had to reply to this post.

    Best Regards

    Lisa
