    I know I should have done this before - have followed the arena as a 'guest' for the past 3 years or so. Only just been brave enough to sign up and join in though!
    I am a Pod qualified 13 years, working mainly within the confines of the NHS although I do venture out into the odd bit of private practice when forced!! My primary area of interest is diabetes, tissue viability and wound care (even more so since developing my very own diabetic foot ulcer!!- you would not believe the coments..........:cool:), I am also involved in the management of an NHS Podiatry service that is always going through change and staffing 'issues'. I need to involve myself more in the biomechanics aspect of our service and was advised by our depts biomech 'fount of all knowledge' (otherwise known to the arena as robertisaacs), to join up and learn. So please teach..............!!Rie :craig:

    Hi Rie,

    :welcome::welcome::welcome:

    I see from your affiliation with HRH Robeer that you have suffered muchly. :empathy:

    Fear not, we will protect you from his rantings about Tea tree oil & Lavender foot soaks. We keep telling him that until he actually publishes his research on how fab' the stuff is we aint goin' to buy it.

    If only he would listen when I try to explain the complexities of biomechanics he may learn. :rolleyes:

    ttfn,

    Mandy

    Rie welcome and good luck with the information you seek and the ulcer you have.
