First of all, I would like to congratulate you because this community is very useful for professionals with an interest in foot care.

My name is Óscar Rodríguez from Bogotá-Colombia, I´m Engineer, student of a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and researcher in Biomechanics. I´m working on foot orthosis optimization and searching on the web about this topic I come here.

I´m sure that here I will learn very useful things and if someone needs my help, I will happy to help.

    Hello,

Thank you for your post - I am an Australian qualified Podiatrist ( La Trobe University). I have a friend who lives in Bogota and following conducting a biomechanical assessment, I am fairly sure that orthoses would help his long term knee pain. I would like to refer him to a podiatrist who I am sure follows the most up to date treatment paradigms such as Tissue Stress Model and Subtalar Joint Theory of Rotational Equilibrium.

I have a full report written in Spanish which I could provide to the podiatrist.

    Many thanks

    John Gregory
