    Hi,
I carried out a PNA of the lateral side of a hallux nail 9 months ago but the hypergranulation tissue persists.
The patient and I have treated it with silver nitrate over two weeks which has reduced it, but have reached a stage where there seems to be no further improvement. I am satisfied that the PNA was successful and there is no regrowth of nail causing this.
Is there anything else that could be done to resolve this (eg further surgery) or is it time to refer on?
    Thank you.
