Hi Samiboy
Bob has a good point about the foundations of functional anatomy from a paleontology perspective - of which Bob is something of a leader in this field.
However, this is rather advanced... and not something that is taught at undergraduate level in the UK. In fact I would go so far to say it is a niche science in the UK that only a handful of Podiatrists are aware of.
Locally Podiatrists Bob Longworth and Andy Horwood being two of them.
I dont recall any of the lecturing staff at Huddersfield having an interest.
I am a graduate of Huddersfield University about 10 years ago... So I can testify from personal experience that while understanding this research field is of course interesting, it may not help you in the short term.
My advice is keep it simple and try not to get overwhelmed.
Also dont forget to learn your anatomical orientations e.g. planes of the body, locations such as medial and lateral etc.
