Is CT still generally considered the gold standard for diagnosing tarsal coalition? 11 year old patient with very pes planus feet, large transverse plane deformity. no arch non-weightbearing and a tiny suggestion of arch forming on heel raise. very active, normal BMI, reduce to tears with pain. I'm chasing a previous xray which parents report was normal but thinking I should also contact referring GP to request further imaging?
many thanks in advance.
