I had bunion surgery ten weeks ago and have completed all of my post-op appointments, and began rehab. My foot has some swelling and is sore which I know is normal, but I still have a very large bunion. The doctor said that she did not completely straighten the big toe because of the way shoes are made...she did not discuss this with me prior to the surgery or I would have told her not to do this.
