Is this normal? I still have a bunion after surgery

I had bunion surgery ten weeks ago and have completed all of my post-op appointments, and began rehab. My foot has some swelling and is sore which I know is normal, but I still have a very large bunion. The doctor said that she did not completely straighten the big toe because of the way shoes are made...she did not discuss this with me prior to the surgery or I would have told her not to do this. She did not seem concerned with the swelling and said it will subside. However, she did state...
