I am an Australian / British Dual Citizen living in Scotland.

Looking at enrolling at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh to study their four year integrated podiatry course (the Bachelors and Masters combined) If accepted I would start studying in September 2021 and hopefully graduate with an MPod (Master of Podiatry) in 2025.

Returning to Australia after graduation is important to me. Long-term my aspirations are to live and work permanently in Australia. Preferably somewhere in Southeast Queensland.

Can anyone offer some insights on the job market and job outlook for Newly Qualified Podiatrists at the current time? If you are an employer of Podiatry professionals, have you hired a UK trained Podiatrist recently? Open to all feedback and suggestions for maximising my chances of becoming a successful Podiatrist in Australia someday.

    Thank you.
