    Hi all.
We are a small new startup in the field of medical services.
We need some advice from practitioners who run or work at podiatry clinics.
I would love to pick your brains and here your thoughts and feedback.

We are working on launching a new "referral service" for medical clinics. Particularly podiatry clinics.
It works in a pretty simple manner:
1- People who suffer from various medical symptoms search for information online and reach one of the many article sites we operate on the web.
The article contains basic information about the medical condition, but the user is encouraged to avoid "self diagnosis" and provide his/her contact information in order to schedule an appointment with professional doctor for guidance.

2- If the user agrees to provide the phone number for scheduling, it is collected by us in order to be referred to the right medical clinic.

3- The clinic receives the patient's information and schedules the appointment for him.

4- The clinic pays a fee for the referral.

We have lots of interesting technologies that allow us to reach the right potential patients, know where they are from and sort the information properly, but I wont bore you with the technical details.
The bottom line is, we have access to many patients who seek medical attention and we are able to send them to physical clinics to get real help, instead of just read and self diagnose online.

    My questions to you are.
1- Is this is service that will be beneficial for clinics and doctors? Is there an underline need for clinics to expend their client base and receive more appointments?
2- From our research it seems that a visit to a podiatrist clinic can cost anywhere between $40 to $400. What in your opinion would be a reasonable cost per referral for the clinic?
3- If you have experience with your own private practice - Is this a type of service that would benefit you in any way? What would be your concerns, and what could "put you off" from trying such a service?

    I appreciate your time.
    Sincerely.
    Nimo
