Hi, it seems some time since I last entered Podiatry Arena and if you asked me how long ago, well, I couldn't even tell you. Much water under the bridge I guess and a few brain cells having withered with the time. Nonetheless, having withdrawn from my primary focus as a podiatric surgeon in 2018 I find myself engaged in podiatry in a very different way - that of 'journalist'. This might sound a bit bizarre but the one thing podiatry is not good at is publishing and writing for the public. My passion is promotion of podiatry and I thought I would engage again with Podiatry Arena as the impressive array of topics shows we have so much to share and yet what we do and contribute does need to surge into the public domain more to gain, dare I say it, a foot hold!
