Hi everyone,

I just saw a 66 y old male patient today who has been using Foot Smart cream for his anhydrotic feet. Hx of DM, Hypertension and Burgers Disease. He is on Warfarin and recent blood tests results had shown INR of 4.8 since he started using Foot Smart. The patient and the wife have ruled out the other factors that may increase the INR and Foot Smart was the only thing they have changed. They have contacted the pharmaceutical company and they could not explain why the cream increases the INR. The main ingredients inlcude Urea, Allantoin, Sodium PCA and Vitamin E. The patient felt better when he was using the cream.
What would increase the INR from these ingredients? And any alternatives that i could suggest that are supplied in Australia?
Thanks
Aldrin C
