    Hello,
I am considering a complete career change into Podiatry. I am a qualified teacher but have had a rotten time trying to get a permanent job. I am currently a supply cover supervisor which is ok...but well as you can imagine not very for fulling and very ad hoc!

I'm now considering a part time degree in Podiatry, the course leader is actually calling me on Tuesday to discuss it further :S

    My questions are:
    - Has anyone here done or doing a part time course? How do you find it?
    - I would need to work as well, do you think it would be possible to get a part time podiatry assistant job as a student...or even before I possibly start?
    - What is the best way possible to go about trying to get a part time podiatry assistant job?
    - Is it worth it? I'm very nervous at the thought of doing it, and would hate to come out the other side and be in the same position that I'm basically in now.

Basically I need a little reassurance and advice!

Ps. I'm in the South Manchester area, if someone wants to consider me for a job :p
