I have just returned from a Thomson cruise and yet again was shocked at the hard sell of orthotics under their "spa" label.
They have a guy they called .......Josh, our foot Doctor......and he gave lectures about how everyone needs to buy £125 orthotics. They are bog standard orthotics and he simply measures people for foot size. He offered to let you stand on a pad which showed your pressure points.
I didn't want to spoil my holiday making a fuss, but are they allowed to use the title "foot doctor" and mislead people in this way?

As they are in "international waters", probably not subject to anyone's laws ??
BUT, when not in international waters, they are subject to licence and laws of that country that the ship is in.

We have been knowns to heckle a little when we see this. Never holiday with other podiatrists...especially on cruise liners who locate the "Foot Doctors" in the same space as the bar.
