I was playing at being a lay person, looking for information on orthotics. Had a look in wiki, the font of all knowledge.

    OMFG!!!

Optimal again. If i hear one more time that a certain position is optimal i swear they'll be trouble!

Can anything be done about this? It seems the lunatics have taken over the asylum!

    Regards

    Ankle-foot orthosis (AFO)

Orthotics (Greek: Ορθός, romanizedortho, lit.'to straighten, to align') is a medical specialty that focuses on the design and application of orthoses, sometimes known as braces or calipers.[1] An orthosis is "an externally applied device used to influence the structural and functional characteristics of the neuromuscular and skeletal systems."[2] Orthotists are professionals who specialize in designing these braces.

I have a Wiki problem. The DYSHIDROSIS article is totally inaccurate and out of date. It gets quoted everywhere, on facebook, on other forums and back to me by patients and sufferers.
I have tried to correct it many, many times and have got into 'discussion' arguements with the writer 'Mu-Mind' who is a software engineer. He has locked the content now due to 'vandalization' by me. I really just want people to know this curable.
