    Hello to everyone!!

Hope the year is treating everyone right so far!

I was hoping to get your input on a potential job I may take. I am a PA and I specialize in chronic wounds. I have been trained very extensively in debridement, diabetic wounds, venous stasis, and diabetic foot care. I have interviewed with a great group and they are talking about having me start up a "Wound Clinic" for them. I would be doing all of the wounds as well as diabetic foot care. Basically what no one else wants to do. I love wounds, so I think it is great. I currently have a part-time wound clinic out of a family practice office about an hour away. They currently pay me 80 an hour. The podiatry group wants to know what I need for hourly pay.

This would be a part-time job to start. Probably 2-3 days a week. Eventually this will be a full-time position. I feel that 80 an hour is a pretty generous rate however, there are not many providers around here with my experience in wounds. What are your thoughts on starting hourly wage for this position?

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it!!
