Shockwave therapy reduced calcaneal spur length

    1. How did they manage to find 95 symptomatic heel spurs (see this thread: Is a calcaneal spur in the plantar fascia?)
    2. No control group
    3. x-rays were said to be done weightbearing; Fig 1 does not look like a weightbearing x-ray to me.
    4. It was stated that the x-rays were measured blindly and they did a pre-study reliability study (good), but they really provided not enough detail to judge adequacy of that (bad)
    5. repeatability of radiographic positioning between baseline and follow-up is crucial to the study design, but no information provided on this.
