Can anyone enlighten me in the salary bands for podiatrists in the public health system in Victoria please.

Grade 1: $47,500 - $61,000
Grade 2: $59,200 - $70,000
Grade 3: $73,000 - $82,000
Grade 4: $92,000
Plus HQ Allowances $3,800 - $5,000

Wow, in my dreams. I tried to find out what my fellow students expect to earn, as a mature student I feel some of them have not worked in the real world, and are totally unrealistic.
This is enlightening.

 

Also be aware that in the Public sector you work 19 days a fortnight, 4 weeks AL, 11 days PH, up to 9 days PD leave, 20 days sick leave, and 4 months LSL after 10 yrs. There is also salary packaging with a minimum of $9500 being able to be earnt tax free, and upto $30k or more (with venue hire and meals claims), so the hourly rate, for hrs worked starts at $33 and climbs to $75 or more, depending on how well you salary package.
