I have been looking for an associate/partner for three years now. I even have paid a mavin-type guy $20,000 to look for me; that was a disaster and will never happen again. I live in Northern California where the air is clear, the people are down-to-earth, and there are lots of diabetics/PVD's. Most docs who have answered my ads seem to want to do just surgery and ignore the palliation, wound care, and biomechanics--those things that really made podiatry. They also want to start making a lot, working few hours, want benefits, and wish their malpractice paid; I just cannot do that until someone can help me.

But let us face it, I cannot afford to pay a whole lot until my "new" doc establishes themself.
There is certainly a lot of opportunity for a surgically oriented doc (four hospitals in two contiguous counties), but I would like some help with my large two office, seven day a week practice too.
So if you want to work really hard and are willing to make your millions after a few years, then by all means, get back to me. If you know of someone, please turn them onto me. If you have any constructive criticism, I would really like to hear that too.
