Football/real football: Glasgow Celtic.
AFL: Collingwood, don't know why just picked them and boy do i get stick for it.
Scotland: whatever sport they play. -
Yes Craig, not a bad team! will be better when they get a few good players, and maybe an Aussie coach may be just what they need to pick up their skill levels.
And bkelly11, nice little striker mcdonald, pity there's a team called rangers! You deserve the stick from what my victorian friends/relatives tell me, and yeah, having a genome ~50% scottish , I like to barrack for Scotland myself. -

Mc Donald goals have dried up, hope he finds some form in the last few games.
A few hail Marys won't go wrong, never say never.
ps your victorian/friends would be correct. -
Has to be the famous Glasgow Rangers, Sorry bkelly11.
The league isnt over yet though, we've got a hard run in in front of us, it's ours to loose! Strachan's getting a torrid time in the media, totally undeserved.
Cheers:drinks -

Anyone who completes the London marathon.
I 'did' the marathon in 2000. Even have the t-shirt. :D
I only recently admit to the fact that I was a marshall & not a runner. ;)
Still drive past the gym on a daily basis & have never felt the urge to stop. -
Where to start?
AFL: North Melbourne
EPL: Blackburn Rovers FC
FPL: FC Barcelona
Serie A: FC Internazionale
Bundesliga: Hamburger SV
S14: ACT Brumbies
NBA: Houston Rockets
Guess who hates that Melbourne is GMT +10hrs?
As for Euro 2008 (made far more pleasurable without the Three Lions present), I'll be supporting Spain - ever the underachiever, always disappointing - so there's not too much angst when they don't make the knockout phase.
Ole Bojan! -
There is only one football, and it's the one where you don't use your hands (unless you are a cheating arsenal swine).
And there is only one team, and thats Tottenham Hotspur.
End of.

"CHIEFS OUTMUSCLE CRUSADERS 18 - 5 "
It's started Craig, hope they hang on and make the finals for ya mate! -
Rugby - NH London Wasps
Rugby - SH Canterbury Crusaders
Craig - I have now been watching most of the Super 14 - are you really enjoying the ELV's? I see from the stats that there has been more knock on's than ever before and intercept trys are too common for my liking.
This is my England Dream Team for the forth coming series (I have added a few video clips of those you probably have never seen)
1 - Andrew Sheridan - no Carl Hayman !!(when we ever see a head-to-head)
2 - Hartley - (a Kiwi) but would have played for England at the RWC07 if he wasn't so punchy
3 - Matt Stevens (good singer - 2nd in Celeb X-Factor but also good scrummager and ball skills
4 - Kennedy (London Irish) New Kid on the block - best lineout iaker in the UK
5 - Tom Croft - the fastest lock on the planet http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...0&q=tom croft&ei=q9MJSOPULKWOiALS9oy8BA&hl=en
6 - James Haskell - McCaw and Haskell must of been seperated at birth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq-68kyQ5TA
7 - Tom Rees - just coming out of his injury, 2nd season blues - world class ball fetcher.
8 - Nick Easter Solid with great hands and vision
9 - King Harry Ellis is back from long term injury - watch out of this irritating No 9
10 - Welcome the Messiah - Danny Cipriani - Take a peak http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...anny Cipriani&ei=P84JSOCsEqfijQKigKm6BA&hl=en
11 - Paul Scakey http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOWOAtmnbY8
12 - Mathew Tait - now with Cipriani releasing him - best gain line break ever in a RWC final.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLE2ks8qh8Q
13 - Jamie Noon - crunch
14 - David Strettle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYKllev77lQ
15 - Josh Lewsey (ask Matt Rogers if Josh can defend)
I think Matt Banahan might make the tour just in case you guys start misbehaving - not often you see a winger getting the better of a hooker and a prop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5tE9S8uwj4

When is the northern hemisphere coming on board? --- games up there are sooooo boooooring in comparison. -
I doubt very much whether all will be taken on board - ELV are just that - experimental law variations.
That said - 5 meters at the scrum, lineout and kicking to touch are excellent and will be a positive step. But with the Irish, English, Welsh and the French leagues in good financial position. Support growing year on year, better players, training etc - why change.
Take a look at this game played on a cold day in January - couple of pints of London Pride and a Cornish Pasties - what more do you guys want? I am sure you lecture 'Don't fix what isn't broken

Second oldest football team in the football league...........Stoke City
-
In 1980 my Dad took me to Villa Park with the aim of introducing me to the joy of Sunderland (the visiting team that day). Unfortunately, the Black Cats lost 4-0, and I have been a Villain ever since. Heady days - we won the league the following year and the European Cup in 1982. Unfortunately, the next 25 years were less kind until the arrival of MON - 15 goals in the last 3 games and looking at Europe once again!:dizzy:

HIGHLANDERS
Founded 1996
Union New Zealand Rugby Union
Location Dunedin, New Zealand
Region Otago, North Otago, and Southland
Ground(s) Carisbrook
Capacity 35,000
Coach Glenn Moore
Captain Craig Newby
The Highlanders (formerly known as Otago Highlanders), are a New Zealand rugby union team based in Dunedin that compete in the Super 14. The franchise represents the Otago, North Otago, and Southland rugby unions. The Highlanders take their name from the Scottish emigrants that helped found the Otago, North Otago, and Southland regions in the 1840s and 1850s. Their main ground is Carisbrook in Dunedin, with other home games being played in Invercargill and Queenstown.
The franchise was formed in 1996 to represent the lower South Island in the newly formed Super 12 competition. They finished the inaugural season eighth, and the following season finished last after winning only three of eleven matches. However in the 1998, 1999 and 2000 seasons they qualified for semi-finals; the best result in their history was in 1999 when they hosted the competition final against fellow South Island team the Crusaders. They lost the match 24–19, and the following year were again knocked out by the Crusaders—this time in their semi-final. Since then they have only finished in the top four once more, in 2001. Between the 2003 and 2007 seasons the team has finished ninth three times and eighth once.
Former Highlander, Anton Oliver has played a record 127 games for the franchise, and thirteen other players have played over 50 games for the team. The Highlanders' highest career points scorer is Tony Brown with 817 points, and highest career try scorer is Jeff Wilson with 35. They are currently coached by Glenn Moore and captained by Craig Newby.

I hear your getting McKenzie as coach, just what your boys need, an ex-Aussie front rower to show your boys the finer points of the great game! They'll need it if they play like they did tonight next year, very lucky, very lucky!
