    Hi
    Advice / remedies please.
Lady 72 y/o with bilateral bunions. L foot has a bursae above the joint enlargement with palpable soft watery content .
A second bursae? is above the shank of the proximal phalange away from the distal joint. This also has a soft watery feel but is apparently linked to the other by a channel/tract via the swollen aspect between them.By pressing the bulb? of either the other bulb swells directly to the pressure.
These areas cause no pain as such when pressed but when the lady plays golf the smaller one is uncomfortable.
Gp is unconcerned and says the smaller is a pressure pad.
The pt is concerned whether it will continue to enlarge as the other one. Does not want the bunion itself re-sectioned , but could they be evacuated , drained or surgically removed ? . If drained would they be just as likely to refill again.
Pt is on no medication or other concerns and is healthy fit and active ,with very flexible feet.No orthotics in use.
Any suggestions ,observations or remedies questions please.

    Thanks
