Hello. My name is Deborah and I am a mature graduate (2008), aged 45, from the University of Salford, UK. Currently employed by the NHS and gaining daily experience of routine clinics. I am moving to Melbourne in September 2009 (with my 16 year old son who will be doing his VCE). I am seeking permanent employment via the employee sponsored visa and am extremely eager to secure employment from October 2009 in Melbourne. My skills have been assessed by the APODC and i have obtained my registration with the Victorian Board of Podiatrists (2009802).

I would be particularly interested in joining a clinic or hospital setting that covers the whole spectrum of podiatry. I have a particular interest in diabetes but am also keen to expand my knowledge of biomechanics, nail surgery, muculo-skeletal conditions etc.
If anyone has any contacts or vacancies that may be coming up please do get in touch with me. I am able to forward via email copies of my registration, my degree and transcript, 2 references and other relevant paperwork including my UK registration. My move to Melbourne will be permanent and i can offer an employer reliability, enthusiasm, a desire to put my patients/clients at the forefront of their treatment and a genuine interest in regularly updating my podiatric knowledge.
Thank you for reading my posting. I look forward to hearing from you.
