I guess the researches will have to keep looking at women, and listening to them talk about their general malaise, until they figure out how untouched toe causes all those problems.
Maybe the researches will get to watch women while they exercise.
I don't think untouched toe causes all these symptoms or problems. Association
does not imply a cause effect relationship. However, this is an interesting finding.
In this study two groups are identified in the population - If there are more women in the cohort group with untouched toe than touched toe group (lets say in the ratio of 5.7/4.3 but general malaise is evenly distributed across the population then of course there would most likely be a 57 - 43 percent split outcome with regard to general malasie in the 2 groups identified.
