I wanted to ask if anyone had used phenol swabs ( Canonbury sells them) in their nail surgery procedures?
I was considering purchasing them for my practice.
    thank you

personally having used the packs of Phenol I have found them inadequate as there is not enough in them for one side as you need to use two (i.e. one swab for each side of nail - as there is simply not enough in one swab for each side). It is far too expensive as compared with a bottle of Phenol. I purchased the packaged ones as I travel to clinical sites so transport of Phenol is hazardous so I thought I had found perfect solution- no on second thoughts I would rather transport as before in a padded secure bag!! just my opinion....

    Thank you Tracey.
I am grateful to you. I thought that the swabs were expensive anyway. ? 4 per swab compared to ?10 for a small bottle of phenol ( 15 ml).
    thank you
