Chiropodist/Podiatrist needed for Maternity Cover approximately 9 months

A vacancy has arisen for a qualified and professional Chiropodist/Podiatrist, to operate in our busy town centre clinic in Daventry.

The post will require the candidate to deliver routine foot care, assess foot conditions, treat appropriately and refer to Allied Health Professionals if indicated.

The clinic operates in the heart of the Town Centre of Daventry and the position will require you to work within the clinic hours. Clinics run from 0900-1730 hrs, Wednesday to Friday and 0900-1400 hrs on Saturday. The clinic does not open on Bank Holidays. The position will include weekend work - Saturday.

Essentials:

You must be a qualified Chiropodist/Podiatrist and be a member of a professional body, have insurance and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. If you have been qualified for more than 18 months you must be able to demonstrate that you have continued your professional development.

The clinic, with a modern and friendly approach is supported by Head Office administrative staff and operates a cloud-based Practice Management System. The clinic will see a wide variety of patients from routine foot care, through to nail surgery, biomechanics and custom made orthotics (made on site), nail reconstruction and steroid injection therapy.

The current position is part-time with the potential for additional hours. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
