Podiatry Vacancy. Salary £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Holidays 25 days per year in addition to bank holidays.

Job description (with appropriate training provided where required).
Chiropody
Nail surgery
Verrucae treatments by, electro surgery, laser, and cryotherapy under local anaesthetic
Nail Fungal treatments using the Fotona class 4 medical laser.
Taking weight bearing Foot X-rays
Gait analysis, using 3 way slow motion cameras and pressure plate data collection and interpretation.
Biomechanical assessment of the lower limbs including pelvis, hips, knees and feet.
Prescribing Orthoses and monitoring progress of patient’s symptoms.
Prescribing a musculo-skeletal exercise program for implementation by our physiotherapist.
Use of Class 3B laser for MSK pathology e.g.to treat plantar fasciitis.
Administration of anaesthesia by digital, mayo and ankle block.
Post-operative dressings following foot surgery.

Fitter Feet is looking for a person who enjoys both biomechanics and chiropody to join our team of specialists; Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, Diane Nicholl FCPods, Gemma Hutchinson BSc Podiatrist, Fiona Breen BSc Podiatrist, Deryck Breinburg BSc Osteopath and Nishi Shah BSc physiotherapist.
