  2. No need to worry. After the world does not end today, all the people who claimed the Earth would be destroyed today will, sometime later, say that they knew all along that these doomsday predictions were wrong and that the Earth would, instead, be destroyed at some later date in the future.

    Remind you of the nonsense the barefoot runners promoted over time and then began to change their story as they were proved wrong.......doesn't it?:bang::craig::cool:

    Well people I have been & shopped without Armageddon (failing the dozy mare in front of me in Boots who quite frankly was really pushing her luck). Sodding tax man will get his cut in January I s'pose. Ho hum.

    The most rational comment I've seen is a cartoon (sorry, can't post it) of two Mayan blokes talking to each other. One is carving a stone slab, the other holding a bowl of beer. He says "fancy a beer mate?" The other bloke says "Well...I'm supposed to be finishing this calendar...but the world won't end if I stop, will it?"

    PS. 3 hours to go in Blightly and we're all right - the weathers wet though.

    Glad to see Croydon & Mexborough survived with all those in sunny Oz.

    Any others waving a flag requiring help?

    Well, it didn't. However, I predict accurately, irrefutably and with the greatest physicists (and even Douglas Adams) in the world backing me...That the world will come to an end in the future!

    Bill

    PS It's still wet here

  14. I also predict that neither you or I, or anyone else who is currently reading these words, will ever see the world come to an end.

    We all have a very, very short amount of time on this ancient and great planet of ours. We will all perish long before the Earth does.

    Because of this, it is important that we should all use our brief time here to make a positive difference for the good of others who are also along with us for this brief ride on our planet.

    Merry Christmas.:santa::drinks
