    Hi Everyone

I am thinking of purchasing a S class steriliser for a small load of instruments one or two cycles a week. But I am not sure what brand is best? I know everyone probably has differing opinions about this but I am going to ask anyways.

    Thanks

    Hi Tracy,

If you look at the link at the bottom of the page, there is lots of advice about steralizers.

Hope you find what you are looking for, but as your business is hopefully going to grow, buy the best quality you can afford, it will hopefully last you a very long time.

    Best wishes for the future.

    Hi Tracy,
For just one or two cycles per week the cost of your own steriliser does not make a lot of sense.
Check with your local PRIVATE hospital's steri dept, they will most likely give you a very good price, to wash, bag and autoclave your instruments. Once you have the cost from them and the cost of a new steriliser of your own, ask your accountant what you should do.
Remember to add to your costs. The cost of annual autoclave validation and checking, autoclave bags, distilled water, electricity and your time to do it yourself

    Good Luck.
