Hello, I am new to the Forum and would like advice on what makes growing a podiatry clinic different to other clinics?
Is it harder to get new customers?
Is it more expensive to run?
Does it require more marketing or support?
It would be useful to know what you experienced and successful podiatrists have to say!

It's not any harder than running any other business. It's not complicated and there is no magic. Just work hard, pay attention to what is working and what isn't. Be willing to change. Look for a niche, something that will make people drive past 2-3 other clinics in town to get to yours. People do that in lots of different ways, adding value through a more comprehensive service, or (if you're lazy imo) price. Work hard. Decide on the kind of clients you would like to treat and gear your clinic up to treat those people. I find clinic is like an ocean liner, once its set in motion its a slow process to change direction so try to get this right from the start. Did I mention working hard?

    Good luck

    Dave
