Mentoring The Future Researchers And Educators Of Podiatry

Discussion in 'Biomechanics, Sports and Foot orthoses' started by Kevin Kirby, Nov 28, 2013.

  1. Yet I'd wager that you had an inquiring mind long before podiatry school, Kevin. And wasn't your mother a teacher? No-one at my podiatry school was really the source of me wanting to pursue research and education. If anything I'd trace it back to being given a lawn-mower engine and a set of tools to take it apart with by my father when I was about five. Perhaps my father had already spotted that I liked to "take things apart to see how they worked" which is why he gave me the tools to do it? Can't ask him now, it's too late- another question I should have asked, doh. The teacher bit I guess comes from being a failed rock-star and enjoying the stage (just like you).

    Happy Thanks Giving. :drinks
