    Rochester & Elmore District Health Service

    Situated close to the regional centres of Bendigo and Echuca, and only 2.5 hours from Melbourne, Rochester & Elmore District Health Service is an integrated rural health service.

    REDHS provides a broad range of acute, aged, primary and public health programs to a population of approximately 6,500 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.

    The organisation provides state of the art facilities to the local catchment population, which includes the larger townships of Rochester, Elmore, Lockington, Corop and Colbinabbin. It includes an Acute Ward with an Accident and Emergency bay, 30 bed Nursing Home, 30 bed Hostel, Operating Theatre and a large Primary Care centre with 11 consulting rooms and 2 treatment areas.

    REDHS is seeking a
    PODIATRIST – Grade 1 or 2
    We are seeking an enthusiastic podiatrist to work as part of the Primary Care Team. The podiatrist will provide podiatry services to inpatients, aged care residents and primary care (including HACC and MBS eligible) clients, including outreach services to Rushworth and Stanhope. The successful applicant will be registered with the Podiatrists Registration Board of Australia, and be able to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

    The podiatry role is 0.5 FTE permanent, with the opportunity of full-time hours effective until 30 June, 2013.

    Salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant in accordance with qualifications, experience and the relevant award.
