Foam toe separators are soft, cushioned devices designed to keep toes spaced apart and properly aligned. They are commonly used for various purposes, such as foot care, pedicures, and relief from certain foot conditions. Here's a bit more information about foam toe spacers:

    1. Foot care: Foam toe separators are often used in foot care to help prevent and alleviate various foot problems. They are commonly used by individuals who experience discomfort or pain due to overlapping toes or bunions. The foam material provides a gentle barrier between the toes, reducing friction and pressure. Crooked hammertoes cause friction and toe corns form. A toe spacer will cushion and separate painful hammertoes/crooked toes.
    2. Toe alignment: Foam toe separators can be used to encourage proper alignment of the toes. For example, they may be used as part of a treatment plan for conditions like hammertoes, where the toes bend unnaturally at the middle joint. Bunions are when the big toe moves towards the second toe. A toe separator can help straighten and cushion the big toe.
    3. Comfort and relief: If you have painful or sensitive areas between your toes, foam toe separators can provide relief by cushioning and protecting those areas from pressure and friction. A boney spur on the toe can cause a soft corn in between the toes.
    4. Material: Foam toe separators are typically made of soft, lightweight foam material that conforms to the shape of the toes, making them comfortable to wear.
Atlas Biomechanics manufactures foam toe separators in multiple sizes and thicknesses.
