    Hi all,

    I hope someone can help?

My son who is now 11 and a very keen sportsman managed to Sublux his Peroneal tendons on his right foot playing Rugby approximately 8 months ago. There was no contact involved at the time of the injury.

I placed him in an aircast for 8 weeks, which the Orthopaedic consultant dismissed. After some rehabilitation I allowed him to resume sport although his Peroneals seemed unstable still but he was asyptomatic.

He has recently just recovered from a fractured Fibula on the other leg and has just resumed sport again and immediately his Peroneals of the original leg have become painful.

At this tender age surgery is not an option as it will cause too much disruption to the Epiphyseal plate. what can i do?

His feet are in a moderate Pes Planus position which he has Orthotics for.

I would greatly appreciate you input.
