A full time position has recently become available at The Podiatry Practice, in inner city Woolloongabba, Brisbane.

We are seeking either an experienced, or recently graduated podiatrist to join two other experienced clinicians in our contemporary practice. The role requires a practitioner who can handle a diverse caseload of care; from minor surgeries to diabetic foot complications and paediatric care. Mentoring, weekly staff education sessions and a continuing education allowance are part of our commitment to quality care.

Registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia is essential.

Our practice is fully computerised, with computerised record keeping, gait analysis and diagnostic equipment, and in-house therapeutic footwear dispensing. We utilise in house CAD/CAM orthotic scanning and manufacturing (training will be provided).

A salary and bonus structure will be negotiated with the successful applicant commensurate with experience. The successful applicant should ideally be able to commence work in July 2014, though some flexibility may be offered to the right candidate.

Applications and enquiries (handled confidentially), along with CV, should be emailed in the first instance to: anthony@podiatrypractice.com.au

    Further information about this position:

    • The successful applicant will be required to obtain clinical privileges with Mater Health Services, as some inpatient visits are occasionally required
    • The is an opportunity, for the right applicant with suitable experience, to be involved in periodic outpatient clinics in paediatrics and diabetes with the Mater Hospitals
    • There is no domiciliary or nursing home work
    • For those wishing to pursue endorsement in scheduled medicines, assistance in facilitating log book requirements can be arranged

Although we would ideally prefer a candidate to commence by mid-July, there is flexibility to extend this further if needed.

Both newer and more experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
