    Hi All,

I have a client who is experiencing all of the symptoms associated with unilateral plantar fasciitis - pain on palpation of medial calcaneal tubercle, post static dyskinesia, limited dorsiflexion/tight calf musculature.

Ultrasound has showed no change in the structure of the plantar fascia thought which has thrown me.

GP has given a cortisone injection which helped slightly and client had little pain relief with low dye strapping and campbells rest. I have prescribed an eccentric calf stretching program (heel drops) which also hasnt provided symptom relief.

Is there anything other condition that may present this way?

i am hesitant to go down the path of orthoses/insoles as they have not responed to treatment thus far.

    Any suggestions???

    Thanks

    Tracy
