    Hi!

I am looking into becoming a podiatric surgeon in the UK. I'm originally from Australia and planning to move back in the next few years. I have a few questions about a Podiatric Surgeon in Australia. If you can please answer with the number bullet points next to it, that would be much appreciated.

    1. What is the employment like for a Podiatric Surgeon in NSW? I am hoping to move to Sydney when I return and wondering how easy it would be to becoming employed at a public hospital?
    2. Does most Podiatric Surgeon work privately or in public hospitals? If privately, is it hard to get a job?
    3. Pay - Does Podiatric Surgeon get paid well in Australia? In the UK, the starting rate for someone who just got their surgery license is the equivalent of $100k and can be as high as $200k in public hospital.
    4. How difficult is it to practice as a Podiatric Surgeon in Australia if I got qualified in the UK?

Thanks for everyone you put in the time to answer these questions. I must appreciate you input.
