    Dear colleagues:
    I just had a case of digital strangulation by a hair , but nearly cost him a finger to my adult elderly patient .
    I never imagined that one could tie hair spontaneously , causing digital necrosis was avoided by chance , calling the unusual pain patient after removal of a callus .
