Hi I am from the UK and I am currently using Podware for my record keeping on a small netbook.

I am currently thinking of moving to using an Ipad for the same but am finding it difficult finding an app which will allow me to keep clinical notes and patient history, meds etc.

Can anyone tell me of any good apps out there at present which will allow me to do this without a monthly fee ?

    Thanks

I've tried a couple but they were complicated and not Pod orientated. Maybe John ...inventor of Podware ...could programme one, if enough of us ask I'm sure he'd look into it.
I'd also be interested if anyone knows better.
(I've tried live linking to PC, no good in rural areas with no signal)

That's what I like about the podware, you don't need to be connected to online to update details or add new patients but really like the idea of a smaller device like the iPad for domicilary calls.

Hopefully someone has tries one that works well

MS Access is a 3 dimensional database tool, its very powerful and fully customisable. I used it for many years before going over to PracticePal online clinic management database.
But you can also search 'Create data base' as key words on google and get lots of free apps and advise on how to build a database

Found an app called soap notes by eclectic DNA, I haven't tried it as yet but it looks promising, has anyone used this before ?
