    Locum Tenens Position – March 4, 2019 – June 30, 2019

    Looking for a podiatrist for a private practice in sunny Calgary, Alberta. No call. Experience the Rocky Mountains, just an hour away. Position would be full-time, Monday through Friday. Hours are 9:00 – 4:00 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Hours are 10:00am – 6:00pm Wednesdays, and 11:00am – 7:00 pm Thursdays. The clinic is located centrally within the city, close to downtown. There is a possibility for the position to become a part-time permanent position.

    Licensing requirements in Alberta are:
    (a) graduated from a college of podiatric medicine in Canada or the United States approved by the
    Council on Podiatric Medical Education and received the degree Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
    recognized by the Board of Examiners
    (b) successfully completed Part 1 and Part 2 of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examination
    (c) successfully completed the PM Lexis licensing examination; and
    (d) completed a two-year or greater post-graduate residency program approved by the Council on
    Medical Education of the American Podiatric Medical Association.


    Board Qualification or Certification through ABFAS/ACFAS recommended. Board certification in Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Wounds recommended (through American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry - with exam date in February, 2019).

    Compensation and further details will be discussed with serious candidates.
